Сочетая научные исследования и практическую деятельность, она борется с социальными бедами (безработица, низкий уровень грамотности, болезни, нарушения прав человека и т.д.) и способствует установлению мира, демократии и взаимопонимания, оказывая людям поддержку и предоставляя им возможность самостоятельно заботиться о себе, своих сообществах и окружающей среде. Мы осуществляем социальные, экономические, природоохранные, культурные, образовательные и научные программы с целью развития и укрепления институциональных и общинных инициатив, направленных на построение честного и справедливого общества, где каждому человеку предоставляются равные возможности. We believe that the best way to meet this challenge is to encourage initiatives by those living and working closest to where problems are located; to promote collaboration among the individuals and communities; and to ensure participation by men and women from diverse communities and at all levels of society. Such activities will help build common understanding, enhance excellence, enable people to improve their lives and reinforce their commitment to society and world peace.
